It does the vampire genre justice, by representing precisely how a vampire would smell, were you to encounter one. The blend opens with the gothic grandeur of orchid - a flower closely associated with death. An expensive type of cologne comes next, along with an intense middle section of leather and crushed velvet. Dark fruits combine with the leather to create a strong base, whilst a slight metallic tone gives the illusion of fresh arterial blood. A perfect companion to an evening of vampire films. This candle has been engineered to only release fleeting moments of its scent, which replicates how a vampire would stalk you from the shadows.

Scent Notes: Floral spectrum, faunal spectrum, ozonic tone, incense, dirt, mould and human decomposition   York 1349 explores a very dark time in world history, when the black death was raging across the planet, causing devastating effects to the global population. The cloying smell of rotting human remains is unmistakable in this scent profile, but it is used as an accelerant, to push the delicate floral tones to new, stronger highs. Plague doctors would cram their masks full of herbs and flowers, believing them to give protection to the illness. We know now that doing so didn't offer any protection, but it did have a different effect. It allowed plague doctors to experience herb and floral tones in completely new ways - the smell of the rot passing through the flowers pushed their scents to unbelievably beautiful places, never before experienced in a scented candle, until now.   York 1349 was the first candle Room Spell created, and it was created from memory. Once you have smelt the sickly sweet smell of death, it becomes imprinted on your olfactory nerves forever.

POISONED APPLE   Main notes: green apple, sage, teakwood, hemlock, foliage, vetiver and forbidden knowledge Beauty meets danger in this perfect summertime blend. A refreshing burst of green apple, delivered with a strong base of vetiver and foliage extracts, whilst green herbs and the poisonous element of hemlock make up the middle. A new way to enjoy the scent of apple; sharp and sour, but at the same time well-rounded, with an added hint of danger from the hemlock. Poison Apple represents how we often become enticed by what we cannot have or what we shouldn't pursue. They made their own "hemlock" scent for this profile, by crushing up real hemlock and then copying it's scent, using oils from their huge collection.

Scent notes: Sakura (cherry blossom), makeup, clean skin, regional Japanese flowers, green tea and reverence. A very delicate scent, that is an olfactory interpretation of how a geisha would smell, if you were to encounter one. A backdrop of sakura encapsulates this entire profile, with the soft tones of theatrical makeup and clean skin coming in quickly, as the candle begins to melt. Carefully selected regional Japanese flowers give a feminine burst of power, whilst the green tea element gives a contrasting bitterness, to this otherwise sweet scent profile. Origins of a Geisha is one of our more contemporary works, and is recommended as a starting point, if you are new to the world of Room Spell. The clean skin tone in this bend was incredibly hard to engineer. It is comprised of eleven different musk oils, mixed at micro-millilitre levels.
