York 1349 explores a very dark time in world history, when the black death was raging across the planet, causing devastating effects to the global population. The cloying smell of rotting human remains is unmistakable in this scent profile, but it is used as an accelerant, to push the delicate floral tones to new, stronger highs. Plague doctors would cram their masks full of herbs and flowers, believing them to give protection to the illness. We know now that doing so didn't offer any protection, but it did have a different effect. It allowed plague doctors to experience herb and floral tones in completely new ways - the smell of the rot passing through the flowers pushed their scents to unbelievably beautiful places, never before experienced in a scented candle, until now.
York 1349 was the first candle Room Spell created, and it was created from memory. Once you have smelt the sickly sweet smell of death, it becomes imprinted on your olfactory nerves forever.

Dinky Death Doctor Wax Melt Tin

Dinky Death Doctors are a Nox exclusive collaboration with Pippie Melts! Each tin contains a mixture of Miniature a plague doctor’s and doors marked with a Red Cross, a prominent piece of history associated with York. They come in a 250ml tin containing approximately 130g of wax melts with Effete scent
Effete (Myrrh & Tonka)- A luxurious resinous scent of many facets. A warm powdery indulgence - earthy smoky tonka bean with a slight hint of lavender and almond. A well balanced oriental with a velvety amber base.
Approx 130 grams of wax melts per tin.
Add desired amount of wax, depending on wax burner size and strength of fragrance you require.
Continue to melt until fragrance has gone, which as a guide is usually approx 8hrs. Once the fragance has gone, allow the wax to cool and harden, then remove and clean as per the manufacturers guidlines.
Only use a burner suitable for wax, with an unscented tea light. The tea light should not burn for longer than 4 hours at a time otherwise the burner may become too hot.

The Summer Raids weren’t just about the pillage and plunder. As they were predominantly farmers, Vikings were always on the hunt for fertile lands that could grow crops to sustain their people. These new lands enabled them to build orchards and grow a vast amount of fruits. Cherries, strawberries, apples and pears were among the most common fruits the Vikings ate and that’s exactly what inspired this scent. A delicious medley of the Vikings favourite fruits, all packed in to your favourite beard products.

These fierce women return from the battlefield with an earthy musk, covered in mud, blood and everything else that was thrown their way. Despite this harshness, their sweet nature still perserveres to remind us of who they are. This incredible beard oil is scented with Patchouli, Bergamot and Lime.
A thick base oil provides your beard with the nourishment it deserves while giving a better hold than normal thin oil.
Ingredients
Castor Oil, Sweet Almond Oil, Essential Oils (Patchouli, Bergamot and Lime). Citral, Geraniol, Linalool and Limonene.
Castor Oil
Rich in ricinoleic acids to soothe skin inflammation, castor oil also enhances the health of hair follicles which in turn promotes good hair growth.
Sweet Almond Oil
Extracted from the seeds of the Almond Tree, this oil softens, strengthens and repairs hairs as well as moisturising both the hair and skin underneath.
Patchouli
Patchouli has a great reputation for being a grounding, soothing, and peace-inducing oil. Amongst other things, Patchouli essential oil has anti-inflammatory qualities as well as antidepressant and antiseptic qualities too. It is also an aphrodisiac.
Bergamot
A great oil that holds antibacterial, analgesic and anti-inflammatory properties which helps fight any spots that come up under your beard.
Lime
This oil has a tightening effect, making it perfect to use to help rejuvenate your skin.
