Chupacabra

A spindly shadow with glowing embers for eyes, the Chupacabra stalks the periphery of the farms, leaving a wake of silent, bloodless pens. Part reptilian horror with quills like needles, part mangy canine-defined not by what it eats, but by what it drains. Through twin puncture wounds, it hollows out the heart of the flock, vanishing, before the sun can expose the truth of its form.
